  • Permanently stained or discolored teeth
  • Crooked or crowded teeth

First Visit: Your initial appointment will consist of a complete oral exam, radiographs (including panoramic radiograph), oral cancer screening, and consultation with the Dentist. Client specific oral hygiene instruction and demonstration (if required) may also be given. The first appointment usually takes approximately 1 hour (adult). If additional appointments are required they can be booked after this appt. Our office is equipped with digital radiography and intra-oral cameras to better provide you with necessary diagnostic information. With digital imaging, exposure time is about 50% less when compared to traditional radiographs.

Please bring a list of medications, including herbal supplements and vitamins, and any dental insurance information to this first appt. Also inform the office of any antibiotic premedication that is required before your dental appt. Antibiotic premedication may be required following a joint replacement, cancer treatment, heart attack or specific heart conditions.

Children’s first visit: The Canadian Dental Association now recommends a child’s first visit be by age one or within six months of the eruption of their first teeth. Their first visit is an introduction to the office and an examination of all oral tissues including teeth, gums and soft tissues (tongue, cheeks, throat and roof of mouth). Once the child is older we will polish the teeth and provide a fluoride application if the child permits. Radiographs will be discussed with parents based on the child’s specific needs.

We require notice of any changes to your personal information or health including dental insurance and address or phone numbers changes.

Nitrous Oxide is available for any and all dental treatment if required.
